Public Hearing – Local Law to Amend Town Zoning Map

TOWN OF SOUTH BRISTOL

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that a public hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of South Bristol on  Monday, December 11, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., at the South Bristol Town Hall, 6500 Gannett Hill Road – West, South Bristol, New York, regarding the adoption of a Local Law of the Town of South Bristol for the year 2023 which would change the zoning district classifications of the following parcels and authorize the amending of the Zoning Map of the Town of South Bristol accordingly:

  1. The portion of 7201 State Route 21, identified as Tax Map No. 194.00-1-16.100, that is located west of State Route 21 and presently designated to be in the R-3 – Three-Acre Residential District, would be rezoned so as to be designated “Government Lands”.
  2. Property located on the north side of Hicks Road and directly east of 6150 Hicks Road, identified as Tax Map No. 168.00-1-71.000 and presently designated to be in the R-3 – Three-Acre Residential District would be rezoned so as to be designated “Government Lands”.
  3. Property located on the east side of State Route 21 and the north side of Bopple Hill Road, identified as Tax Map No. 178.00-1-46.000 and presently designated to be in the R-3 – Three-Acre Residential District would be rezoned so as to be designated “Government Lands”.
  4. Property located on the east side of County Road 12, identified as Tax Map No. 00-1-20.210 and presently designated to be in the R-3 – Three-Acre Residential District would be rezoned so as to be designated “Government Lands”.
  5. Property located at 7083 County Road 12, identified as Tax Map No. 194.00-1-22.110 and presently designated to be in the R-3 – Three-Acre Residential District would be rezoned so as to be designated “Government Lands”.
  6. Property located north of 6450 Gannett Hill Park Drive, south of 7121 County Road 34 and east of 6297 County Road 33, identified as Tax Map No. 184.00-1-78.000 and presently designated to be in the R-5 – Five-Acre Residential District would be rezoned so as to be designated “Government Lands”.
  7. Property located in the Town of South Bristol south of 7077 Sumac Drive, east of the easterly boundary of the Town of Richmond and north of the northerly boundary of the Town of Naples, identified as Tax Map No. 188.00-5-8.100 and presently designated to be in the R-5 – Five-Acre Residential District would be rezoned so as to be designated “Government Lands”.
  8. Property located at 6860 Gulick Road, identified as Tax Map No. 189.00-1-33.000 and presently designated to be in the R-5 – Five-Acre Residential District would be rezoned so as to be designated “Government Lands”.
  9. Property located at 5809 State Route 64, identified as Tax Map No. 177.00-1-80.100 and presently designated to be in the NC – Neighborhood Commercial District would be rezoned so as to be designated “Government Lands”.
  10. Property located at 5809 State Route 64, identified as Tax Map No. 177.00-1-80.200 and presently designated to be in the NC – Neighborhood Commercial District would be rezoned so as to be designated “Government Lands”.
  11. Property located at 6358 State Route 64, identified as Tax Map No. 184.00-1-30.000 and presently designated to be in the C-1 – Light Commercial District would be rezoned so as to be designated “Government Lands”.
  12. Property located on the west side of State Route 21, identified as Tax Map No. 184.00-1-57.000 and presently designated to be in the C-2 –Commercial District would be rezoned so as to be designated “Government Lands”.
  13. Property located on the west side of State Route 21, identified as Tax Map No. 184.00-1-58.000 and presently designated to be “Government Lands” would be rezoned so as to be in the C-2 –Commercial District.

Any member of the public shall be entitled to be heard upon said proposed Local Law at such public hearing.  Copies of said proposed Local Law are available for public review at the Town of South Bristol Town Hall, 6500 Gannett Hill Road – West, South Bristol, New York.
