Re: Public Information Meeting for County Road 12 Culvert 38 Replacement Project

Dear Resident or Property Owner:

Ontario County will be replacing Culvert 38 on County Road 12 during the upcoming 2025 construction season. The existing culvert is located approximately 30 feet south of the intersection of Fribolin Road and County Road 12. The culvert is 73 years old and is severely deteriorated in several locations. The project is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2025 and be completed by the fall of 2025. The construction will take place in two phases and on-site detours will be utilized for each phase of the project. County Road 12 will remain open to traffic. The detours will be one-lane and will be controlled by temporary traffic signals. Residents living on this section of roadway will still have access to their property. We anticipate construction operations to run from April 2025 to October 2025. We plan to publicly bid the construction contract in the fall of this year.

A public information meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 16, 2024, from 6:30-7:30 pm at the South Bristol Town Hall located at 6500 West Gannett Hill Road, Naples, NY 14512. During the meeting, County staff will briefly explain the project and address any questions. The meeting will be an open house format with no formal presentation. Documents illustrating the proposed project will be available on the County’s website at the following location: Ontario County Public Works – CR12.
